Labor pain begins when your uterus (womb) begins to contract, in the days before labor starts, you may experience tightening of the uterus which cause discomfort rather than pain.

Labor pain start when you get regular contractions, which increase in frequency and intensity throughout labor and can become painful in a similar way as you may experience pain in other muscles in your body when you do vigorous exercise.  At the same time the opening into the uterus (the cervix) is stretching to eventually allow your baby to pass through into your birth canal.

Most low back pain can get better if you stay active, avoid positions and activities that may increase or cause back pain, use ice and take nonprescription pain relievers when you need them. You may be ready for gentle strengthening exercises for your stomach, back and legs and perhaps for some stretching exercises.

Exercise may not only help decrease low back pain, but it may also help you recover faster, prevent re-injury to your back and reduce the risk of disability from back pain. The exercises to reduce low back pain are not complicated and can be done at home without any special equipment.

Appendicitis is the inflammation of the appendix by micro organism, often following an event brings about reduction in the blood supply to the appendix, leading to perforation and huge pus formation and collection if not quickly diagnosed.

Most commonly, feces blocks the inside of the appendix. Also, bacterial or viral infections in the digestive tract can lead to swelling of lymph nodes, which squeeze the appendix and cause obstruction.

The pineapple plant contains a proteolytic enzyme called ‘bromelain.’ These enzymes are capable of breaking down fibrin which is a blood clotting protein. This means that they allow for better blood circulation and tissue drainage. They can also help prevent the production of agents that can cause inflammation.

The end result is that the consumption of pineapples can help to reduce inflammation, and so relieve gout pain naturally.

Pain coming from the bottom area is not something that we are used to feeling and, as a consequence, anal pain can cause a lot of worries.  Anal pain is a common problem. It usually appears as a mild irritation, but sometimes the pain can be so severe that it can be incapacitating.

A knife-like pain when you have your bowels open, and which may last for 10–15 minutes after wards, is probably caused by an anal fissure. Some people describe it as like ‘passing glass’. In addition to the pain, you may notice some bright red blood on the toilet paper.

The possible causes of wrist pain are wrist injury, wrist strain, wrist sprain or wrist fracture. Other causes are Colles fracture (common fracture of the forearm near the wrist) and Scaphoid fracture (fracture of a small wrist bone).

A sudden event or an acute injury can break a bone or tear a ligament. Less apparent, but more slowly developing insidious causes of wrist pain are repeated patterns of activity, which over time may cause undue strain on the wrist.

The most common cause of shoulder pain is injury to the soft tissues such as  muscles, tendons and ligaments within these structures. Some shoulder problems arise from the disruption of these soft tissues as a result of injury or from overuse or underused of the shoulder.

The tendons pass underneath a rigid bony arch in the shoulder, a common cause of shoulder pain is when the tendons become trapped under this arch. The compressed tendons become inflamed or damaged, a condition called rotators cuff tendinitis.

Anall pain is a very real mens-health problem. In fact it’s not only a mens-health issue, it can also be an issue for women living with HIV as well. The cause of anal pain can be trivial and easy to remedy or can be very serious and sometimes fatal.

The vast majority of patients who complain of anal pain have an anal fissure, thrombosed hemorrhoid, or anorectal abscess. The pain of a thrombosed hemorrhoid is usually most severe during the first 24 to 48 hours after the clot forms, and then it resolves rapidly.

Hip fractures are a significant and serious cause of sudden hip pain. Hip fractures become more common as people age because falls are more likely and bones become less dense.

Hip-related pain is not always felt directly over the hip, Instead you may feel it in the middle of your thigh or in your groin. Similarly, pain you feel in the hip may actually reflect a problem in your back, rather than your hip itself. A hip fracture is considered a medical emergency. Therefore, if suspected, you should get medical help right away.

Headache is pain in your head. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) identifies four main types of headache, each of which can come in a wide range of severity, from mild to debilitating. The four main types are vascular (migraine is the most common type of this kind of headache, which is caused by expansion of the blood vessels in your head that cause pain); tension (or muscle contraction); traction; and inflammatory. A fever can cause a vascular headache, too. Cluster headaches are another type of pain.
