The first hour of a heart attack is known as the “golden hour.” If you get help during that first hour, your chances of recovery are greatly improved. Some heart attacks are sudden and intense while most heart attacks start slowly, with mild pain or discomfort.
It is occurs when one of more regions of the heart muscle experience a severe or prolonged decrease in oxygen supply caused by blocked blood flow to the heart muscle. Although chest pain or pressure is the most common symptom of a heart attack, but there are numbers of other symptoms also associated with heart pain like jaw pain, toothache, headache and shortness of breath.
