Many women will experience occasional bouts of lower abdominal pain during pregnancy which lasts till the delivery. The most common source of physiological labor pain is due to the position of the baby. A posterior baby, one who is facing up, can result in a substantial amount of back pain for the mother as can a breech baby, who is born feet-first.

Another leading causes of labor pain is fear or anxiety, the stretching of the pelvic floor muscles can cause pain. Pain during labor is caused primarily by uterine muscle contractions and somewhat by pressure on the cervix.

Sciatica is also caused by compression of one or more of the five sets of nerve roots in the lower back. Sometimes doctors call sciatica a radiculopathy. Radiculopathy is a medical term used to describe pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in the arms or legs caused by a nerve root problem.

Other possible causes of sciatica are;
*Lumbar spinal stenosis.
*Spondylolisthesis.
*Piriformis syndrome.
*Spinal tumors.
*Trauma.
*Sciatic nerve tumor or injury.
*Bulging disc or herniated disc:
*Degenerative disc disease
*Pregnancy
*Spinal infections
*Ischemia

PAINFUL SHOULDER

Pain in the shoulder has not been considered as a widespread problem, and only a few studies have been published. Population surveys confirmed that shoulder pain was common in children and adolescents. In studies with a sample size of at least 300, the lifetime prevalence of shoulder pain in the range 30-51%.

Painful menstruation is a common female condition. The pain may be felt either two or three days before or immediately before or during the flow.

Menstrual cramps are sharp pains in a woman’s lower abdomen that occur when her menstrual period begins and may continue for 2-3 days. Symptoms can range in severity from a mild annoyance to severe pain that interferes with normal activities.

Mittelschmerz occurs during ovulation when an egg is released by the ovaries. For about 20% of women, this causes severe pain and cramps on one side of the lower abdomen. Although the pain may feel like something serious is wrong, Some women have extreme cramping just before and during their period. The technical term for this is dysmenorrhea.

Chest pain or discomfort that occurs when an area of your heart muscle doesn’t get enough oxygen-rich blood. It may feel like pressure or squeezing in your chest. The pain also may occur in your shoulders, arms, neck, jaw, or back.

Chest pain is one of the most frightening symptoms a person can have. It is sometimes difficult even for a doctor or other medical professional to tell what is causing chest pain and whether it is life-threatening or not.

Most patients with advanced cancer develop diverse symptoms that can limit the efficacy of pain treatment and undermine their quality of life. Pain and symptom severity was measured daily by patient self-assessment.

Prevalence and severity of anorexia, impaired activity, confusion, mood changes, insomnia, constipation, dyspepsia, dyspnoea, coughing, dysphagia and urinary symptoms were significantly reduced, those of sedation, other neuropsychiatric symptoms and dry mouth were significantly increased and those of coma, vertigo, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, intestinal obstruction, erythema, pruritus and sweating remained unchanged.

The stress, the physical effort and some major diseases can lead to suffering from a chronic muscle pain, which is very difficult to stand while performing the daily activities of an average person. As human beings we have a lot of muscle groups, and the reasons listed above can easily trigger a condition of this type, which interferes with the quality of life 24 hours a day.

Everyone does not suffer the same pain, you may not have a consistent pain with in your muscles, however it does exist. There is little to no interrupt’s to your daily actives. Your most likely to find relief with the muscle pain while taking a prescribed form of antidepressant medication. It can be in your muscles anywhere in your entire body such as neck, elbow joints, lower back, lower left, lower right, wrists, knee joints, foot ankles etc.

Ear pain and discomfort is a very common problem for adults and is seen even more often in children.

Aching or pain in the ear is usually caused by an infection of the ear area, including outer ear infections, mastoiditis, or middle ear infections.

However, pain in the ear can also arise from infections or conditions in nearby regions that affect the ear nerves.

Eye pain is a fairly common complaint with many possible causes. Eye pain should be taken seriously, especially if vision changes also occur. Pain in the eye may be described as a burning, throbbing, aching, or stabbing sensation in or around the eye.

The complex structure of the eye makes it susceptible to painful conditions , a tiny particle of dirt can cause extreme pain or scar the surface of the eye.

The following medications may be used, based on the severity of your cancer pain:

For mild cancer pain,  anti-inflammatory medications such as ibruprofen, are often used. When pain relief is not achieved with acetaminophen or NSAID medications, opioid medications are often used, usually  hydrocodone, codeine, or oxycodone.

Sciatica is the inflammation of the sciatic nerve, usually begins in the hip and buttocks and continues all the way down the leg. This condition is often

accompanied by low back pain, which can be more or less severe than the leg pain.

Several nerve roots leave the spinal cord and exit through holes in the sacrum to combine and form the sciatic nerve, which then passes between layers of the buttock muscles into the deep muscles of the back of the thigh.

The first hour of a heart attack is known as the golden hour. If you get help during that first hour, your chances of recovery are greatly improved. it is important that you know the symptoms that may indicate that a heart attack is in progress.

If the blood and oxygen supply is cut off severely or for a long period of time, muscle cells of the heart suffer severe and devastating damage and die.

Sickle cell pain symptoms may include bacterial infections,painful swelling of the hands and feet, fever, arthritis, leg ulcers, fatigue, anemia, eye damage, and lung and heart injury. Treatment for sickle cell anemia aims to manage and prevent the worst manifestations of the disease and focuses on therapies that block red blood cells from stacking together, which can lead to tissue and organ damage and pain.

Arthritis means the inflammation of one or more joints, its symptoms are;

Pain or tenderness in a joint by movement or activity such as walking, getting up from a chair, writing, typing, holding an object, throwing a ball, turning a key.

Inflammation of the joints from arthritis is characterized by joint stiffness, swelling, redness, and warmth. Tenderness of the inflamed joint can be present. Loss of range of motion and deformity can result. ?

For tooth cavity you can pour oil of cloves onto a cotton pellet and place it into the cavity of the tooth. If you have lost a filling and the tongue is being cut on the sharp edges of the tooth, you can see your dentist.

A clove of garlic with a little rock salt should be placed on the affected tooth,. it will relieve the pain and, sometimes, may even cure it. If you have gum swelling and pain,  medications like acetaminophen (Tylenol), ibuprofen (Advil) or aspirin can be used, you can also apply a numbing gel to the gum, such as Anbesol.
