Most foot pain is caused by shoes that do not fit properly or that force the feet into unnatural shapes, rest will allow the tissues to heal by preventing any further stress to the affected area.

When the shoe is on and you’re standing up, make sure you can fit the width of your little finger between your heel and the back of the shoe, proper support for arches or rotation of shoe types will alleviate the pain.

One theory as to the cause of fibromyalgia that is gaining acceptance is that a trauma or significant stressor turns on an individual’s “fight-or-flight” response.

Fibromyalgia pain affects the skeletal muscles, ligaments, and tendons in the body. Pain can also be felt in the bursa, the sacs that surround your joints providing nutrition and lubrication needed for movement.

Neuropathic pain is a chronic pain state that usually is accompanied by tissue injury. With neuropathic pain, the nerve fibers themselves may be damaged, dysfunctional or injured.

Pain can develop after injury to any level of the nervous system, the sympathetic nervous system may be involved. Nerve pain is often puzzling and frustrating for people as it seems to respond poorly to standard pain therapies.

Appendix pain begins when the opening from the appendix into the cecum becomes blocked. If the inflammation and infection spread through the wall of the appendix, the appendix can rupture and infection can spread throughout the abdomen.

A child with appendix pain usually develops a slight fever, loses his appetite, feels nauseous, and may vomit. Appendicitis pain starts in the naval area then progresses to the lower right side of the abdomen.

Fibromyalgia is a common condition of body-wide pain and tender points in joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. It is a rheumatologic disorder It’s causes are chronic pain in the muscles, tendons and ligaments.

It has been diagnosed that sleep disturbances may actually cause the condition. A theory suggests that the disorder may be associated with changes in skeletal muscle metabolism, possibly caused by decreased blood flow, which could cause chronic fatigue and weakness.
